Slash Gives Blondie a Makeover

Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash shocked staff at a British radio station by defacing a picture of Blondie singer Deborah Harry.

The rocker -- who was at Virgin Radio's London headquarters being interviewed on Wednesday -- gave the Blondie star a black eye, moustache and beard when he spotted the portrait on a corridor wall.

Amazingly, station bosses saw the funny side and left the picture up.

A source tells Britain's The Sun: "Out of the blue he asked if anyone had a marker pen.

"A few minutes later he said he needed to pop to the loo. He then walked over to the painting as a runner walked past and turned to him and mouthed, 'Shhh!'"

Breakfast Show DJ Christian O'Connell says, "We're not going to bother replacing the painting. It's a great story to tell visitors."
