I'm generally a peacefull person, but I guess there is also a big picture to consider though.

I see the Iraq war as a continuation of the 1990 Gulf War, and as much as people talk about the oil, what would Saddam have done next if his attack on kwait back then had been ignored?

Some are critical of the USA's involvment in that conflict, but then many are also critical of the late entry of the united states into ww2. (Implication being that the usa could have won the war for the allies much earlier had it taken a greater proactive roll in world policing and joined earlier.). In this way i feel like people don't like it when the usa is worldcop, but they also don't like it very much when the usa is isolationist and lets stuff happen. So you guys can't really win it seems!

But that is a shitload of cash!
