"There are several incorrect reports on Bret's condition. Bret remains in critical condition at an undisclosed location. Further tests are being ran and information will be updated in the coming days. "
Doesn't sound good. I bet the "reports" they are talking about are the ones that said he was awake, alert and talking with the hospital personnel.

Thats not a stroke, sorry but you dont wake up the next day fine after a stroke.
My friend had a stroke at 25, blood vessel burst in his brain, he lost the use of one arm and took over a year of physio to get himself to 90%. And he was very lucky, he knew the signs, and managed to call an ambulance and post his keys through the letter box before collasping.
There are such things as a "mild stroke". I'm betting that's what Cramer had.
Your friend had a very serious stroke. He definitely would've died had he not had that quick response.

Some leave you permanently disabled, some you can overcome with physical therapy, and some are very temporary. My Grandfather had a stroke that didn't cause any paralysis at all, not even short term. So yes, Cramer very well could have had a stroke.
Yeah, my mom had what is called a TIA stroke a few years ago. Scary shit, but she was out of the hospital within a few hours or so.

Sad news. Hope he makes it thru. He's a diabetic isn't he? I wonder if it's somehow related with that & the appendectomy.
Yeah it's especially sad if you've been watching Celebrity Apprentice recently. In the last few episodes he got a call from his daughter who was showing signs of juvenile diabetes and she was going into the hospital for tests. She asked Bret, "Will I have to take shots every day like you daddy?" He was all broken up over that.
I never realized how big a deal, and how difficult living with diabetes can be. Again, hope for a full recovery for Bret. He seems like a genuine and overall nice guy.

My wife is insulin dependent and has been since she was 6. It can be very scary and way too real sometimes. It also makes everything from a splinter to a hangnail a potentially life threatening situation. I am sure that being diabetic complicates things. My wife's sugar can get out of control from simply having a cold.
