Rob Pattinson Related to the Real Dracula?! Say It's So!
Perhaps Robert Pattinson had blood-lust in his blood long before Twilight came along.
According to Ancestry.com, the 24-year-old Brit is related to the "real-life Dracula," brutal 15th-century Transylvanian leader Vlad III Dracula, aka Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula.
"Without any myth or magic, we find royalty and vampires lurking in Pattinson's life'”making his story just as supernatural as the one he's playing on screen," said genealogist Anastasia Tyler.
The link was apparently made through both Pattinson's and ol' Vlad's relation to the British royal family: R.Pattz is distant cousins with Princes William and Harry, while Vlad is a distant uncle.
So it's not like Pattinson's fangs are real or anything, but...still pretty cool, right?
Coincidentally, Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer is also linked to the British royals, giving her a bit of Vlad blood, too.
And this isn't the first oddity Ancestry.com has brought to our attention: According to the site, Hermione Granger player Emma Watson is a relative of a woman convicted of witchcraft in 1592 England.

Oh fuck off with this guy. I'm so sick to death of the Twilight craze, and all these freaks it attracts.
I agree, its fucking pants.. But it seems the 1000 screaming vaginas lined up outside cinema like it...

it jsut boggles my mind the terrible scripts and acting yet the movies still are popular
and that chick is the worst actress on the planet earth...my wife was in love with the books but even she had to admit that the movies are awful

YEah i love vampire films and stuff like the Anne Rice books and so on...so when I heard of the twilight craze I expected I'd be into it....so I saw the first movie...and it's just BAD....terrible script, bad acting, and B grade directing IMHO.
I honestly can't understand why it's so popular, like I know the cast are hot or whatever, but it's one of the weakest movies of it's kind around. Maybe the books are better? But the thing is I could imagine the same thing - even with the same pitch at teenage girls - being executed 100 times more effectively by more talented people - and that's why i'm amazed it's so popular as is.
