This was definitely planned by the GnR camp. To go on an hour late without explanation, knowing in advance the consequences, and to throw a fit after wards -- this was rehearsed. I'm curious to see what Ron has to say about this, and how much more of this BS he can handle.

But why they would rehearse it emcitymisfit? Are you saying it's for publicity or something?

Rehearse is an overstatement, but they knew what they were doing.  They were told the plug would be pulled if they broke curfew, and then they broke curfew.  It's not like it was some kind of suprise.

Agree, UNLESS there's an off chance that something else caused the delay other than Axl just not being ready to go on on time.  IF there was some technical problem or something out of their control that prevented them from going on promptly then MAYBE it could have come as a surprise to them.

But, I doubt any of that.  I'd bet the house that they knew exactly what they were doing and didn't really care if it ended the way it did.

The bitch is ALWAYS LATE, I think it's safe to say that it's his fault!

"We don't know for sure..." C'mon man! 14

^ yeah I hear ya, but it could be boy who cried wolf style, I dunno 99% of the time GNR is on late because they're on late, I'm just saying there's always the 1% chance that for some reason this one is different. But I doubt it too.

Not drunk, but pretty much feel the same. There's nothing "cool" or rebellious about it at all. The late arrival onstage obviously intentional, and the outcome was obvious.
