Are concert tickets non-refundable?

Festivals and concerts with multiple artists arent usually refundable, or its really at their discretion if they do or not, as if the event goes ahead, and missing 1 band, the event still went ahead, and thats what you paid for...

Me too. Whatever DJ might think of the promoter or anyone else, just fucking show up on time, know essential information before you talk shit and don't act like it's not your fault. It is. You came on late. The festival has a policy set upon them by local authorities. Either you do it it their way, or you don't do the gig. You can come late at other shows, be my guest, but the information was there for you dumb fucks to grab it and act accordingly, but you didn't. Your loss Ashba, and by talking about shit your obviously don't understand, you make a fool out of yourself.

I mean for Belfast, I just cant see me going anymore. I really dislike their attitude towards the audience, its always been a bee in my bonnet about making people wait for hours, but there was always an excuse for the odd late show that sometimes happened.
In 2010 theres been no excuses and no attempt, ever, to do the fans a wee gesture and come on stage promptly. I just find it pretty reprehensible behaviour and dont really want to support it. If it was closer to home and more convenient I would still be going, I've got my ticket after all, but its a hassle and a half for me to travel there and I no longer think its worth it.

Unfortunately this was bound to happen.  MAYBE, things would've gone down differently if they weren't given an ultimatum through the press.  Probably not, but we'll never know.  But once that ultimatum was given, GNR was guaranteed to push the limits as much as they could.

Not that the band isn't at fault, because they are.  But the promoter handled this whole thing horribly.  Such is life when dealing with a band like Guns N' Roses I guess.  It's hard to handle things well.  Compare this though to Sturgis, where the organizer came out and took the blame for the late start.

Well you can TRY and sell your ticket through ebay and such.  I see where you're coming from though.  I do think they'll play the upcoming shows after Leeds, BUT I can't say I'd be 100% confident the show would go off without a hitch if I bought tickets.  And I'd be even more apprehensive about asking friends who don't know quite how crazy GNR can be.

I can't beleive Axl has succeeded in brain washing DJ to beleive its not GNR's (Axl's) fault and its actually the promoters.... Unfucking real.  I have lost all respect for DJ, what a follower/sheep/pussy (insert any other word to show he has no backbone or mind of his own).  We all know Ron and Tommy probably don't feel this way.

GnR took their fans' money & didn't give them the show they paid for, & they've done it before & they'll do it again..

Yes, you're right. It's just a uneducated spelling of the word. Good catch, didn't even notice that.

I blame the promoter myself

Anyone with any self-respect in the band should leave now. They made enough money in the past years. It's pathetic.

Been saying it for years. he doesn't deserve the band he has. he's a complete dickhead. I love the whole blame game once again. HE purposely goes on almost an hour late, then bitches about how brutal the promoters are for pulling the plug when they break curfew. Whata  fucking loser. Someone needs to bitch slap him. the guy's a punk. There's nothing cool about him at all anymore.
