Re: 2010 Fantasy Football
Thank god I had a big lead going into MNF otherwise I would be complaining since my opponent had Gore, Vernon Davis and 49ers D. Ended up winning by like 30 pts.
^^
It'll all be okay.
I would have had 110 points if it weren't for benching Hightower for Stewart. Still can't get over it.
I dropped Beanie Wells over the weekend since I have no idea when he'll be back. Looks like Hightower will get the majority of the carries here despite his fumble problems.
Stewart is still in RBBC in CAR. Hard to know when he'll get any consistent carries at all.
Faldor,
what's going on with the QB thing? It might not be such a bad idea to hold onto Vince Young for one more week. He can't get any worse than last week and he faces a 4-3 defense this week (more familiar to him). I'd definitely get rid of him by the Dallas game though (week 5).
Keep an eye on Marshawn Lynch. There have been rumors that GB is interested in him. He'd produce better numbers than Jackson there. It would also free up more playing time for CJ Spiller. A win-win for both teams.
Re: 2010 Fantasy Football
I offered a trade for Manning in that league, Peyton that is. MJD, Lee Evans, and Kolb for Manning, R. Williams, and Collie. I figure it'll be rejected, even though it would've looked more attractive before the opener. I put in a claim for Kyle Orton, dropping Vince Young. I'd like to get more than a point from my QB sometime this season. Hasn't happened yet, and I'm actually below zero at this point.
Somehow I got screwed in that league too in week one. I wrote about it earlier that I had a .08 lead until they took ONE rushing yard away from Kolb and I ended up losing by .02 points. So they deducted ONE point for ONE rushing yard. I didn't think of it at the time, but it's TEN yards for every ONE point, so technically my lead should've gone from .08 to .07. Correct? F'ing yahoo!

You have to put in your waiver claims by Tuesday night. So anytime after the games begin on Sunday through Tuesday night you put in your claims. Being in last place, you would have had top priority. But on Wednesday morning all the waiver transactions are processed, so you'd have to wait until that is done to pick up guys that remain on the free agent list. So my advice to you going forward, make your claims by Tuesday night or forever hold your peace.
Neemo, it's me and you this week. A battle of the worst. Somebody's gotta win. I just noticed the other day that I've lost both of my matchups by less than a point. Talk about tough luck. I've been outscored 157.98 to 156.24 on the season. The damn Niners had to tie up the game on Monday so Pierre Thomas could get an extra 8 yards to put the nail in my coffin.
Re: 2010 Fantasy Football
Picked up Darren McFadden, Brandon Pettigrew, and Demariyus Thomas today. I'm definitely starting DMac vs ARZ and their crappy run D. Bruce Gradkowski is starting for OAK instead of Jason Campbell. Louis Murphy might be an interesting WW candidate (if he's still available).
Who had Harvin in their team again? More migrane trouble and a hip injury. Only good news is he plays the Lions whose defense stinks.
WR3--which one to pick Austin Collie, Johnny Knox, Demariyus Thomas or Mike Sims Walker. I'm leaning toward Walker. I could also use another one of these guys in a flex spot (along with Pettigrew).
I ended up dumping CJ Spiller since I had no use for him and the Bills O looks beyond awful.

Close one last week for me, haha, need all 30.8 of those Frank Gore points. Not loving my team but oh well.

I picked up Demarius Thomas and Louis Murphy in respective leagues as well. Not sure about Thomas yet, but there's certainly some potential there. I'm probably going with Murphy over Crabtree, since he hasn't done much so far. I have Harvin on 2 teams and he's riding the pine in both leagues this week. So look for him to blow up.
I'd probably go with Sims-Walker as well and maybe Collie for the flex. I also have McFadden on a team but haven't used him yet, since I have Jones-Drew and Forte, and no flex position. He's outperformed MJD so far, but I can't make that switch. Forte is a tossup. McFadden has run the ball a lot better than Forte, but Matt has a lot of receiving yards and 3 TD's. Forte is at home on Monday night against a Packers defense that hasn't been very good against the run. So I think I'll stick with him another week.
