Scarlett Johanson as Love wouldn't be such a stretch. Remember what Charlize Theron looked like in Monster? Maybe they'll do similar things to her.

I think Mark Wahlberg could play Axl Rose. I thought he looked a lot like him in that Rockstar movie.

I don't why they'd make much effort, if they are gonna film this scene, the actor would basically spend 30 seconds on screen playing Axl getting owned by Cobain.

Jared Leto already played a very Axl looking rockstar in a movie called 'Sunset Strip'. Old GNR pal Josh Richman was in the film, so maybe he helped Leto get the look right?
