BRAIN'S drumming on CD is forgettable. All the contributions Frank made to CD are cool as hell and the best drumming on the record.
Brain is no where near as good of a drummer as either Frank or Matt were/are for GN'R.
Absolutely. That was the ironic thing. The most memorable and bad ass drumming on CD, ended up being Frank's stuff.
I knew the guy was something special when I saw the first shows with him 2006. But he totally had me won over after the redone drumming on CD-the song. 
I've always felt Frank held more in common with Steven, and got GN'R the closest back to that old Guns drum style.

^ Yeah that is sad.
As for sorum, most people seem to hate him, and I'll admit I have a fondess for popcorn just cos GNR was his life and he was cool on AFD, but, in terms of having a drummer, you couldn't ask for a much better drummer in your band than matt. His UYI and VR drum parts are cool as hell.
