Although it took more than a decade — 13 years, to be exact — for GUNS N' ROSES to release its "Chinese Democracy" album in 2008, the follow-up to that effort may come sooner than anyone thinks. Ashba said in an interview at this month's launch party for the "Call Of Duty: Black Ops" video game that the band is "talking about that right now. We've been throwing around a bunch of ideas and it should be good, man. We've got a lot of good stuff on the plate coming out. It won't take as long, I promise." Ashba added, "I'm excited to get this next one rolling . . . Axl [Rose, lead singer] has a lot of good shit up his sleeve, so I'm really excited about it."
In addition to Ashba, Thal, Reed and sole original member Rose, the current lineup of GUNS N' ROSES includes guitarist Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, keyboardist Chris Pitman and drummer Frank Ferrer.

I wonder if Axl would be ok with showing up at one of these things at some point.
OK i have let the handlers comments go not really seeing others as a problem but this........mabe if the fuckin handlers butt out he would do more w/for fans .......check this out p-cool of him !

As for the handlers, they have a job to do. Realisticly a guy like Axl runs into a group of fans and could be delayed 30 mins or more by posing for every picture and signing all kinds of stuff. It's that woman's job to get him to where he needs to be.
That's why something like an official meet and greet like that works a bit better, cos it's time the band has scheduled to interact with fans and it's not fans hunting them down and messing with ther personal lives.
Although I can also imagine why Axl may not want to go to such a thing, imagine the onslaught of people he'd have to deal with.
