Facinating what slash says about the VR writing processes there.
It was surprising for me. He needed to force Slither through the others and it was Scott, who finally backed him? Wow. He also mentioned that in VR everybody needs to push their ideas through the 'band' and it's a very hard process. No wonder he doesn't need Matt Sorum to nix his stuff and he's rather out with Myles.

Till my dying day I'll say that while everyone hates it Libertad has a handful of kickass songs. I maintain that "Let it Roll" and "Just 16" at least have some classic slash vibe to them. But I know what he means that the overall record is too soft.
I also wonder what else hit the cutting room floor. We know that Ghost used to be a VR demo. And scott said someting once about going through a whole CD of slash/izzy demos and not liking them.
I think therres a lot of room for VR to make a stronger album without scott. Not that scott wasn't good in his own way, but he was always going to a different place than slash IMO.
Yeah, Let It Roll and Just 16 are pretty kickass tracks. And they sound so much better and heavier played live too. I remember hearing Just 16 live on youtube before Libertad came out and I was like... that's fucking ROCKING!!!!
