Absolutely. I checked the European album lists during the last tour, and GH digital sold like sugar in the USSR in the 1930s.

So to explain my theory...
Say Jungle Earns $10.
So original song split is
Adler 15% = $1.50
Duff 25% = $2.50
Slash 25% = $2.50
Axl 35% =$3.50Then say axl licenses 30% of his share, would be:
Adler 15% = $1.50
Duff 25% = $2.50
Slash 25% = $2.50
Publisher (30% Axl's share) =$1.05
Axl (70% of Axl's Share) = $2.45Although because of the advance they would probably not pay Axl's part until such time as the $20m has been earned back....but that's the concept.
Maybe i'm wrong about all this, I'm just saying it's possible isn't it.
What about Izzy? He was more important to the songwriting than anyone other than Axl. No way in hell Adler would be getting a cut while Izzy gets nothing.

You're 100% right...hahahah...yeah...my bad...forgot Izzy. LOL. He's just one of the major songwriters...lol.
So yeah...Adler does get a cut, but you're right so does izzy.
It was't an even split. Some of what would have been adler's share had they split even between them goes to Axl from memory.
Maybe it's
30% Axl
20% Izzy
20% Slash
20% Duff
10% Steven
or it might be with Axl getting 25 and Steven 15.
Can't remember exact. It's in adler's book.
Anyway my point was that since then Axl could have subdivided his ownshare between himself and a publisher, and I suspect that's what the deal a few years back was rather than him giving up his entire stake.
