Re: Imac and DLNA
I recently purchased an Imac along with a Time Capsule wireless back up base station.
I also recently purchased a new TV with wireless and DLNA capability. What I want to do is be able to stream, images (photos etc), video and audio on my TV directly from what is stored on my computer - wirelessly too. The TV has the capability to do it, but the Mac is where it needs some tweaking.
I know the standard mac software can't do it but I have heard you can run Twonkymedia, Medialink and a host of others. Has anyone had any experience with these?
Does that mean if I install one of these I would have to save all my music on say itunes as well as say Twonkymedia or whatever I install?
Anyone have any experience/suggestions with this?

Re: Imac and DLNA
I'm not much use either.
I use a free program called Tversity (http://tversity.com/download/) to stream video content between by PC and my Ps3 which is connected to my home theatre setup.
I have no idea if it supports mac though sorry
In a PC situation you can get a media server to monitor certain folders on your system and automaticly update your libary at the other end, so you don't need to copy files or create duplicate files, but I'm not sure about mac etc.
