A puppy in Oklahoma came back from the dead after being euthanized.
BRAAAAAINNNSS!
The dog was put to sleep with five other dogs about two weeks ago and pronounced dead. The puppies were found in a cage outside the Sulphur Animal Shelter, and since they were very thin and appeared to be sick, the shelter could not take them in with the other pets. Therefore, their only other viable option was to call a veterinarian and have the dogs euthanized.
After being put to sleep, each of the pups was examined by a trained professional with a stethoscope and declared to be dead. They were then disposed of in a nearby dumpster, which was to be unloaded later that night. Miraculously, the dumpster was never dumped, and the following morning Scott Prail of the animal shelter found one of the five to be alive and well!
The puppy has been nicknamed "Wall-E" because, like the Pixar robot, he is the only one left of his kind. The Arbuckle Veterinary Clinic took him in for inspection, and he has been given a completely clean bill of health! His story has been all over the Internet, so now it is up to the veterinarian to decide which of the puppy's adoring fans will be allowed to call him their own.

This is not to say that the spouse in question is necessarily making the social contact with any sort of wrongful intentions, though. In fact, most of these online relationships begin simply through innocent curiosity. Whether it be an old friend, an ex, or a current significant other, as with any relationship, it all comes down to the amount of time two people spend in contact with each other. Online or off, the more time someone spends in contact with another person, the more likely they are to develop feelings for each other.

Cake recorded their latest album with solar power.

Researchers are developing a specialized skin 'printing' system that could be used in the future to treat wounded soldiers on the battlefield.
According to the Armed Forces Institute of Regenerative Medicine, burns account for 5 to 20% of all combat-related injuries. This device could be used to actually rebuild severely burned or damaged skin! The project is still in the preclinical phase, which may take up to five more years until the system has been developed enough for human use. With $50 million from the Defense Department going into the project, hopefully it will finished sooner. Believe it or not, the scientists on the project started out by modifying a standard inkjet printer. The system works just like any regular printer, except that instead of printing with ink, the device 'prints' a person's own skin!

You may think something this size would have to scrimp on the hardware, but modern nanotechnology allows the computer to contain a microprocessor, pressure sensor, battery, memory chip, and a tiny antenna that allows it to transmit data to a reader device placed near the eye.
The system takes 15 minutes to collect pressure data and requires 10 hours of indoor light or an hour and a half of sunlight to recharge its battery. Thanks to this fact, you no longer have any right to be grossed out by red meat (other than the fact that it is uncooked and may harbor diseases, or if you're vegetarian). Almost all blood is removed from meat when an animal is slaughtered, so the liquid you see is mostly water! So why is it red? I’ll tell you why - the reddish hue is caused by a protein called myoglobin that stores oxygen within muscle cells (myoglobin may sound familiar if you’ve heard of its cousin hemoglobin, which serves a similar function in red blood cells). The more myoglobin, the redder the meat - this is also the way in which we distinguish red meat from white meat! Mammals commonly contain more myoglobin and are considered ‘red meat,’ while fish and poultry have little to none of this protein and are therefore classified as ‘white meat.’
The reason red meat turns brown when you cook it is also due to myoglobin. When a hunk of meat gets cooked, the iron atom within each molecule of myoglobin loses an electron and moves from a 2 to a 3 oxidation state. This chemical change is what causes the meat to turn from reddish-pink to a darker brown color!
