Lady Gaga Born This Way Cover Confuses Fans
By Paul Cashmere
Yesterday at 1:59pm (Tue, 19 Apr 2011 13:59:02 +1000)

Lady Gaga has unveiled the cover art for her new album ‘Born This Way’ and fans seem unimpressed.

The ‘Born This way’ cover looks like a photo-shopped morph of Gaga with a motorcycle with Gaga wearing some sort of vamp-like expression.

After she uploaded the cover to her website on the weekend, fans have been tweeting their dislike of the image to the point of it being called “worst cover of all time”.

Lady Gaga showed off her new cover on Saturday following a twitter posting stating “can’t believe its here” but the backlash was immediate. “She’s a fucking motorcycle” wrote one fan.

Social networking chatter was at a point not long after the cover was posted that suggested fans thought the cover was a joke and the real image would follow soon after. It didn’t,

Check it out for yourself. Drop a comment below and tell us what you think.

Lady Gaga ‘Born This Way’ will be released on May 23rd.

All this rock shit with her right now is her going through her Madonna "Sex/Erotica" phase.

She got mega popular popular with The Fame & Fame Monster, she became a household name (Like a Virgin/Prayer), little kids to grandmothers listen to her, and this is her breakaway just like Madonna did in the early 90's.

She's hanging out with metal guys, professing her undying love for metal/rock, dressing like a metal frontman, puts out that Born This Way video which practically screams "yay, vaginas are fun", and keeps talking about the number of the Beast.

Is it shtick? Oh yeah.

The whole thing just seems all so familiar to me.

Glad to see he's gonna go ahead and release it.

Personally as soon as she started putting up walls, he should've just cut contact... waited, and put it out. He's only doing it as a service to her, he doesn't NEED her permission.

In the end it doesn't really matter. Weird Al has been irrelevant for YEARS.

In Switch, Lady Gaga Will Allow Weird Al Parody

"Weird Al" Yankovic released "Perform This Way," a parody version of Lady Gaga's hit "Born This Way" earlier today against the wishes of the pop star, who initially refused to provide permission for him to include the track on his upcoming album. In a post on his blog, Yankovic wrote that Gaga had made the process of submitting his parody for her approval very long and difficult. At first, Gaga said no, even though Yankovic had planned to donate all proceeds from the single to the Human Rights Campaign, an organization that supports gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered causes. (Gaga's spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment.)

But apparently Gaga has relented. According to a tweet by the New York Times' David Itzkoff, Yankovic's manager has confirmed that she has given "Weird Al" her blessing to include the song on his album.

What's the point now? He just gave away the single that's gonna drive his album.
