Re: 2010-2011 NHL Season
since there both western conference series have a west coast team that means that i likely wont see much of them this round...
as for buffalo, they seem to be in this perpetual state of rebuilding...at some point you would hope that they make an effort to put to gether a team capable of making a run for the cup

Re: 2010-2011 NHL Season
Yeah we caught lightning in a bottle in 05-07 but couldn't afford to keep the team together. Since then we've had to rebuild but now that Pegula's in place we can feel confident that if we get the talent we can retain it. With Golisano we lost Dumont, McKee, Briere, Drury, Campbell, Biron (the only back-up Lindy ever trusted enough to play), Afinogenov, Kotalik, etc. Not all stars but a lot of them played huge roles in our successes. Now with Pegula I at least feel confident that we'll be able to keep Stafford, Myers, and Sekera long term, instead of just having Miller, Vanek, and mid-salary players.
Re: 2010-2011 NHL Season
well that sucked
it was a great series .. even at the end of the day the score for all games combined was tied
2 over time games, 6 one goal games and an empty netter for a 2 goal game pretty good stuff...it too bad that howard let in some softies or the series may have been different...but hey marleau and thorton have waited a long time for some playoff payoff so maybe this will be the year
still i cant say that i'm too excited about watching the really late games and with a vancouver/san jose quarterfinal there is the potential of the whole series starting @ 10:30pm..i for one will definately not be staying up to watch..but i ahve a feeling it'll be a florida vs california final
