Re: Had a medical emergency last night
Damn, your real name is actually James Lofton? I thought it was an homage to the former NFL wide receiver.
Not trying to get off topic James, but I thought the same thing for a long time. I realized it either on the original ROV site or HTGTH in similar fashion.
Glad to hear it's just panic attack, maybe your just getting old. Time for "no" pills, or aspirin.

Re: Had a medical emergency last night
This happened again this morning, although not in such a dramatic fashion. Had actually been having mild chest discomfort the past few days, but the pills I take easily mask that. This morning I had like a stabbing pain on the side of my chest for a few minutes, so I decided to go to the hospital. Just got back home. Had an IV in me for like 6 hours, did the whole EKG shit, and last but not least, they took 5 vials of blood when they gave me a blood test. Had I watched them do that, I most certainly would have fainted. I almost fainted just seeing those vials full of my blood after it was over. I also had a chest x ray.
They found nothing wrong with me, although the doctor said I should go see a heart specialist just to be on the safe side. Nothing wrong with my heart, and they didn't find anything on the x ray either. In other words, it was another panic attack.
I think I'm taking the wrong pills. I need to drop the vicodin addiction and give myself a xanax addiction.
James, I have the exact same shit going on. Stabbing pains in the side of my chest, faintness, numbness... it's all there. And my EKG, Echocardiogram, blood work (seriously a ton of blood), and chest x-rays were all clean.
The doctor told me i pulled a muscle. I just about told him to fuck off. I know what pulling a muscle feels like.

You should be careful Saikin, James has the excuse of being old (haha, sorry James) but that stuff happening in a person your age, or my age, could be serious. I guess if you took all the tests and came up with nothing though, what else can you do?
Good luck to both of you, hope it doesn't happen again. Sounds upsetting to say the least.

And for the reason it scared the crap out of me. It's been going on for over a year now but the doctors said there's absolutely nothing wrong with me physically. I don't even have a drug addiction so it's not like i can stop that.
Re: Had a medical emergency last night
This happened to me again Sunday night. Was really bad. When driving I was praying on the way there I didn't pass out behind the wheel. I was at the hospital about 8 hours and they ran tons of tests. Not only was I having chest pains, I couldn't hardly breathe, my side was hurting, I was having chills spreading throughout my body, and I also started getting a headache. My tests came back clean they simply chalked it up to anxiety and gave me some ativan. The attack lasted for hours and really wore my body out. Have been groggy for days.
