Didn't watch Trust last night. Was going to but was getting sleepy and just queued up a few Sopranos episodes and fell asleep while that was on.

Was planning on watching it tonight but today I downloaded a few old movies I've seen before and might watch one of those instead. Not sure.

Movies I downloaded earlier....

Scarface
Casino
Girl Interrupted
Reservoir Dogs
Only the Lonely
Drugstore Cowboy

Back to the Future Trilogy:

Back to the Future--This one is probably my favorite of the 3.  Combines some interesting ideas with two great performances by Lloyd and Fox.  8/10

Back to the Future II--Much better than when I saw it in the theater about 22 years ago.  I understood the plot a lot better and it bookends with the first film well at least on the topic of time travel.  Elizabeth Shue was a downgrade from the actress who played Jennifer in the first BTTF.  7/10

Back to the Future III--Loved this when I saw this as a kid but when I watched it today, it didn't really do anything for me.  It's not bad or anything I just think that most of the issues in the film were kinda covered by the first two installments.  Marty pretty much takes a backseat toward the Doc-Clara romance storyline. 5/10

I've always loved them all, but as a kid Part III was always my favorite, probably because it was the one I got to see in the theater as a small kid, so I felt closer to it.

But as I grew up (I was never far removed from the movies, probably #3 on my all-time slot), I just grew to love every single film from the trilogy in their own way. They all have things that are great about them, and rarely do they have anything wrong with them. One of the most flawless trilogies in history. If I HAD to complain, it'd probably be Part II as a kid, and even now, is not quite as cohesive and straight-foward as Parts I & III. Those films have a single, focused storyline, and they stick to it. Part II tries to do too much. I always was disappointed leaving 2015 so early, and the return to 1955 could've been saved for an entire 'nother film. They probably had two FULL films conceptually in Part II, it just needed to be fleshed out more. Parts I & III are the only ones that I think hit their stride out of the gate and just play it casual n' cool and tell a simple, entertaining story. Part III was always VERY well-written for wrapping up the franchise. I have never EVER seen a 'series finale' film for a franchise, wrap things up so well as BTTF Part III.

Now as for your comments on Part III being 'less Marty, more Doc & Clara'... when you really think about it, despite the popularity of Marty McFly as the central character, and the charisma of Michael J. Fox... NONE of the BTTF films were ever really about Marty himself. Part I came the closest with the intro of Marty initially going back to 1955 and seeing his parents, and the close finding resolution by saving Doc in 1985. Other than that, Part I was entirely a love story about George McFly & Lorraine Baines, Marty's really a side character. Then Part II was really a Biff Tannen story, with the generations of Tannen's featured throughout and their goings-on being the central plot device. And then of course Part III was Doc's film, in and out.

So when you really think about it - Marty was always in the background in some ways. The amazing low-key, high-key balance that Fox played McFly just made the whole thing beautifully work. The other characters got to shine, but the audience still came back to Marty.

These days I dress like 'Part III' (telescope cowboy hat n' boots), but trust me i'll go Part II as soon as I find a pair of these babies...

Torture - if you want to see a campy movie that shows alittle blood and your into porn this movie is just for you. yeah, the shit was "torture" alright. 0/10

What year was this film released?  I searched on imdb and found several titles under torture.

It was released in 2010  : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0907305/plotsummary

I finally watched this the other day and I don't think it deserves a 0/10.  Granted it is shitty and cheesy as hell but there were several unintentionally hilarious scenes.  Probably gets a 1 or 1.5/10.

Hidden Text:

I laughed out loud when the two brothers started fighting near the top of the tree while trying to evade the killer boars who were driven wild because of the infected bad fertilizer produced by the company.

The cellphone going off was really funny.  Especially in that one scene where Nathan "hides" underneath a dead carcass and the thing goes off.  The cellphone rang several times during the film and those guys have to be real morons to not be able to set a cellphone on silent or vibrate function.

There was another funny scene near the end where Daniel tries to attract the attention of the killer beasts by sticking his bloodied hand through the crack of the floor.

That was "Prey" you watched not "Tortured."

I was talking about Tortured.

7/10 but with a better ending would have gave it an 8 or 9.

Clive Owen gives an amazing performance as the grieving, enraged father.

Watched Priest the other day, all I will say is its one of the worst movies I have ever seen: AVOID

Just finished looking at The Rite.

I actually really enjoyed this movie, contrary to all the bad reviews it got I would consider it a good flick, not a great movie but definitely worth a watch. I think the problem a lot of people have is they watch it expecting a horror movie and to me it is without doubt more of a drama.

Check it out you might enjoy it.

The Fast and The Furious

Watched it for the first time since it came out when I was in high school. I never fell into that "drift crowd" as they were all spoiled rich d-bags, total jock scene... and anyways looking back on all the "cool" moments, I still lol at it, 'cause it wasn't cool then, and it's not now. But still pound for pound, it's a good movie. The youthful stuff doesn't hold up, but the story remains strong, especially the strong family vibe.

*** 3 out 4 stars - Good. Some of the sequels were superior imho.

Watched three movies:

Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchett - 3/10

A group of teenagers celebrating the anniversary of the death of a local axe murderer suddenly find themselves face to face with the realities of this haunting urban legend.

They show this one scene where in her file they show what triggers Mary off and it says when she's on her menstrual cycle she's going into a complete "rage." That did make me laugh, its like did a guy write the script? Haha 14
IMDB Link -  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1161404/

Husk - 7/10
A group of friends stranded near a desolate cornfield find shelter in an old farmhouse, though they soon discover the dwelling is the center of a supernatural ritual.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1504403/

The Housemaid 7/10 - a rich, wealthy family gets a new housemaid and it goes on from there. I would have gave it an 8/10 but the ending was just stupid too dumb for me. Her "revenge" was dumb as hell.

I liked that movie. A pretty damn good slasher. It's a rarity in this age to get a slasher that's not a remake/sequel that isn't a z movie.

Watch Trust. You're gonna really like it although that 'shocking ending' you told me you read about somewhere doesn't happen, or I just have high standards on what shocking is.
