We had to put our cat down a couple of weeks ago after about 17 years. It's not easy losing an animal they become such a big part of the family!

RIP, sorry to hear that. I had to have my pet dog of 13 years put down early last year, and that was one of the most heartbreaking things I've ever had to go through in my life. 4 is too young though, even for a dog!
