Re: Job I didn't get
I did a little diggin'....
I was informed about who got the job I applied to a few months ago, and didn't get. The name rang a bell, in my work u get to know a lot of shit about everyone.
Turns out he's drug dealer, caught with large amount of amphetamine in his home. And he used to be an advisor at a middle school.
I mean, either this job knew, or they don't. And if they didn't, how the fuck did he get away with it??
So, hands up anyone who lost a position to a drug dealer.

Re: Job I didn't get
I guess from one perspective Drug Dealers probably have a lot of confidence (to blatently risk the consequences of illegal stuff but do it anyway) and are probably used to bending the truth (if the movies are true anyway - seems to be a lot of lying to authorities, suppliers, customers, each other).....confidence and lying are two skills that go a long way in a job interview....so don't feel too bad
Re: Job I didn't get
Wow, that sucks. What kind of industry are you in? A guy I know just found out he didn't get an offer because he has a misdemeanor from 1999!! Crazy. It's a pretty generic office job with an insurance company too, not like he's applying with the FBI.

Typical. You probably were a qualified honest worker.
But like all things in this world, whoever sucks the ass of the hirer the best gets the job.
