The fact they they all seem to be reading of the same cue card is

Yeah, but why do they report it in the first place?

It's a widely conservative country.

Pretty much says it. I don't get it either.

I live in the South and people shit themselves when they see this stuff. I just don't get it, and never have my entire life. I'm part-redneck, i'm part-rebel, i'm a little bit country... I still don't get it.

Somedays I feel like Jason Bourne at the end of Bourne Ultimatum going to that guy, "do you even know why you are killing me? What's the point?"

That's pretty much what I do now. I just throw that up in their face...

Me: "do you even know why you're upset?"

Them: "I'm pissed because of the homosexual agenda!"

Me: "what agenda?"

Them: "you know, they're trying to take over the country!"

Me: "and if they are, so what? what's the big deal?"

Me: "why does it anger you so much?"

Them: *pauses*

Them: "well... well... because..."

Them: "I guess I don't know"

The whole thing is just bizarre to me. I do believe this country is over-sexualized in the media, especially with kids, and that's tragic, but that's all heterosexual shit, not homosexual.

Still... nothing changes. People still make a big damn deal about it. And the thing is, if people STOPPED making a big deal about it, gay stuff wouldn't be used as shtick all the time, and the media wouldn't report on it, because NO ONE WOULD CARE.

I don't get it...

aaanvelope or eenvelope?

Aaanvelope is the past tense of eenvelope, or so they say.

In all seriousness, I find it rather pathetic that two people professing their love and devotion to one another offends people.
