Re: Robin vs. DJ Ashba
I can't see DJ leaving without reason. It is possible that Ron is so hurt that he is forced to leave the tour and a call to Bucket is made. Doubtful that he would pick up.
But, like it or not, these are the guys Axl has decided to go to war with the forseeable future. At least until someone gets pissed off and walks out again.
Re: Robin vs. DJ Ashba
I honest to God do not remember ANY of this Robin Finck fandom back when he was ACTUALLY IN the band.
Same thing with Bucket. I remember them being slagged on a daily basis on every board, every radio DJ, every music critic, every fucking place for being everything Guns N' Roses wasn't.
I really think alot of this "they were the best" shit is alot of revisionist history. I was right there following this shit daily, on far more boards than I do today, and I don't remember ANY of this shit.
I remember Jim Bob being the big Robin fan, and that's about it.
Re: Robin vs. DJ Ashba
I must have brain damage. I do not remember any of it.
I do remember you being a big Robin supporter tho.
I'm not saying it was NON-existant. It was somewhat there. Same with Bucket.
But not on this mass-level the way it is today. I remember Robin being a blip on the radar.
I remember the loss of Bucket being a much bigger "heartbreak" for the fan base. Especially being they went dark after for two years after it. Most thought they were done for.
Re: Robin vs. DJ Ashba
If your friends have the same taste in music that you have, I wouldn't really pay much attention.
