I agree. I wanted to reach though the screen after him during the week before episode, where he basically blamed his (already pre-existing) cowardice on the girl saying "I love you" to him before he left, so he was distracted, and self-protecting.

Andrea was totally in the right, AND was proven right by Lori and Maggie.

And I knew Rick would come back for Shane. It would violate his code if he didn't it. Shane has to respect that on some level. Rick can only be Rick. Just the way it is.
