Re: RRHoF Discussion (Izzy/Slash/Axl Press Statements)
I will also point out that I'm well aware you start picking at these technicalities to avoid admitting that you are wrong. If we're in the mood to discuss ironic things today, you can add that to the list.
If you want to believe that, fine. As I said, everything I quoted was actually stated. I did not insert words into someone's quotes that were not there. I just didn't. That's all

It's there because you want it to be there. People (all of us) have a tendency to see what we want to see in something.
The reality is he still didn't actually say he wasn't going. Now if we're going to read between the lines (something frowned upon in this thread), we can probably see he's not going. The fact remains, Izzy still hasn't said he's not going.
He said he was waiting to see what happens. By that, I took that to mean making a decision. Matt said Izzy had spoken to Slash and at that point had decided already to not go: "Slash's answer to me was that he spoke to [guitarist] Izzy [Stradlin] and Izzy wasn't planning on coming. (Matt Sorum). Did he decide then or now? Hence what I see as a discrepancy. You're right, he did not say he wasn't going. But, my interpretation is that he is saying he was waiting to decide what to do based on "what would become of the GNR induction into RRHOF". If you disagree with that interpretation

So now you are okay with speaking for one of the band members? Weren't you bashing people earlier in this thread for interpreting Axl's words?

I don't have to believe it. Your words/actions tell the story. Everything you quoted was stated. Everything you said he said wasn't. As you say, it's all in the details (paraphrasing).

Not speaking for anyone, Buzz. Never claimed I was If someone misinterprets someone's words IMO, I'll point it out. and respectfully disagree like I did with Bono's interpretation that Axl was objecting to the original band's induction (it could've been Matt Sorum). If you feel I've done that with Izzy's statement, o.k., fair enough.

P.S. No "bashing" here in this post, which is what I assume is being referred to http://www.gnrevolution.com/viewtopic.p … 58#p229458

If I didn't put something in quotes, I don't understand how that constitutes saying someone said something. If I was trying to say you said something, I would put it into quotes.

Re: RRHoF Discussion (Izzy/Slash/Axl Press Statements)
I was never expecting Izzy to be involved in the first place personally but it's nice he said something instead of just no-showing.
Agreed. I'm just confused. Maybe he was just waiting to announce his plans, but upon first read, I thought he was saying he was waiting to decide, which conflicts with what Matt/Slash said.

Ok, you said he thought something. Even worse.
