Gonna take a moment to give Myles Kennedy a lot props and respect.

The amount of balls it had to take to get onstage under this pressure and microscope to perform must have been unreal.

It's not the Super Bowl. The thing wasn't even broadcast on live TV. The tape delayed broadcast will be on a premium movie channel, not a free network like NBC or CBS. This is a very good thing if you are a big fan of these songs. In my case, Brownstone is my favorite GN'R song. So while his shitty vocals on that track will be seen by millions, it's probably not nearly as many as it might have been if it was a live broadcast on a regular cable channel like VH1 (which is how the Hall of Fame used to be).

The Super Bowl, shit that'd be a fuckin' gig.

I know people hate it, but I just want one more time to see Axl have a stadium of 70,000 people in the palm of his hand UYI-style.

He's completely pissed away the good will of most people in the public with his antics over the last 20 years. And now he doesn't even have the "cool" factor going for him to make up for being an asshole. Back then he could pull it off because he was the best frontman on the planet. That's not the case anymore.

I'm actually shocked they didn't play Under The Bridge.

Especially as a bit of a tribute to Hillel.

Ehhh, I disagree. I don't think he's off on that level.

What his problem is, the ONLY THING that will babyface him again with American audiences, is having Slash right beside.

If Slash is there, it'll put Axl over. Just the way it is, and especially NOW.

Don't think the Illuminati ritual requirements over there quite fit his bill. "Oh and Ax, we need you to mock sacrifice some children while you do the grandmaster sign under this pyramid".

Meeting would be over in 10 seconds.

I concur on the stadium thing, but you kinda get that when he plays the big festivals.

I see what you're saying, but I'm hard pressed to think of anyone better. Some are in his league, but it's a rare breed nowadays.

He could definitely pull it off I think. It's his antics that prevent something like that from happening.
