Fucking rights. Anyone who is that narcissistic that they're willing to pay to have their updates promoted more frequently deserves to be removed from not only your facebook friends list but from your life friends list as well. And to those who will use it for promoting their business on facebook they'll get deletd as well me. I don't mind the occasional plug for something but the people who do nothng but promote their businesses on facebook get deleted right away.
Agreed. Talk about needing to get a fucking life. Status updates have always been stupid anyways. Like anyone gives a shit you're "depressed" because your gassy for 30 minutes after eating Del Taco.

The only thing that would make sense is if your friend was in some entertainment medium such as a band or standup comedy, and used it as a promotional tool among their friends, ala Slash & DJ, even then it'd be annoying. Alot of fans of those two have actually dropped them because of it.

I have unfollowed all celebrities except one on twitter because I dont' give a fuck about 99% of the stuff they tweet about and it just clutters the feed. The only celebrity I follow on twitter now is Ashley Leggat. She's the only reason I even have a twitter account and it's cool cause she actually tweets back regularlly. I love her 
Also I've unfollowed a lot of friends on Twitter because all they do is retweet shit 20 times a day and it's all stuff I don't care about. I hate when people's witty sense of humor is a fucking retweet of something someone else came up with.
