Aerosmith's new album titled "Music From Another Dimension" will be released on August 28 via Columbia Records. Their first song to be made available from the CD is a reworked version of the band's 1991 outtake "Legendary Child", which was originally written during the "Get A Grip" sessions. The track, will also be included in the upcoming film "GI Joe: Retaliation", the movie release of which has now been pushed back to March 2013.

It was a good song for the most part just some of the stuff got drowned out in the mix. Can't wait to hear some of the album's later tracks!

So much for "throwback Aerosmith". To what, 20 years ago? Or 40 years ago?
That song is real soft ass, real poppy. Despite Joe's great guitar contributions, it sounds more like a Tyler-solo track.
Meh, not terrible, but a full bore B-side from the early 90's is VERY obvious.

I didn't dis-like it, but you're right, it sounds like what it is. A song that didn't make the cut for Get A Grip.
Also, I read the other day that the GI Joe movie is getting pushed back to next year because the studio got scared after Battleship flopped. There goes the extra push they were looking for for their lead single.

Aerosmith Kick Off 2012 Tour In Minneapolis

Aerosmith opened their Global Warming Tour in Minneapolis, MN on Saturday with a 18-song set that generously covered the hits from throughout their career with an emphasis on their 70′s songs.
Ten of the eighteen songs in the set were from the group’s first five albums released between 1973 and 1977. The rest was sprinkled between their 80′s and 90′s album with only two from their upcoming album Music From Another Dimension!
Reviews of the show say that the group is in fine form and Steven Tyler was prancing around the stage just like in the old days. Maybe a bit of time apart have reinvigorated the members.
