Re: China's Wuhan city covered in mysterious haze
That's what happens in a country that has literally no air quality regulation.
The U.S.'s sucks, but China's is non-existant.
My mother was forced to leave her home due to air pollution. She actually developed perminate asthma, when she never had it before.
This kinda stuff hits close to home. Many times with her breathing, she was so bad I stayed with her, because she didn't think she'd make it through the night, and no breathing treatment or medication would take care of her.
But because tests revealed she was getting oxygen in her lungs, it was deemed 'psychological'. It wasn't. It was because her throat and lungs were seizing up.
Never happened until she got around a bunch of power plants that pumped God knows what into the air. She was never the same again, even after she moved.
