Re: The BATMAN Thread
I was in a theater which gave "Freddy vs. Jason" a standing ovation on opening night.
Yeah I think it's about 'respect' more than anything.
Either way, looking forward to it. At this point i'm probably just gonna go to a local theater and watch TDKR in a regular HD-digital presentation. I've got a screen about 10 minutes from the house.
Versus
Literally an 11-1/2 HOUR day that would include the marathon and driving 3-1/2 hours round trip.
My back would be WRECKED.
OR
The IMAX experience, of which I will only pay for TRUE IMAX, which means the theater that is that, i'd have to drive 4 hours round trip to watch a movie that's 4 minutes LONGER than "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly".
Have any of you thought about that?
Isn't that CRAZY?
I compared these films awhile back to "The Dollars Trilogy" of comic books.
TDKR is 4 minutes LONGER than "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly". THAT IS INSANE!

Re: The BATMAN Thread
That was pretty cool. I had to end it around the 8 or 9 minute mark cause I didn't want to see a whole lot of new footage that could spoil it for me.

Re: The BATMAN Thread
True! After seeing these posters and TV spots, I feel having Bane in this a film as the villain is going to be an intense yet powerful experience. From what I've seen so far they have definitely fixed some of the issues with his character such as the voice within the mask. Feels like an actual character that terrorize a city such as the impression with Ledger's Joker.
