Unemployment transfer to that state?

If I receive unemployment in Taxes and move to another state will my unemployment transfer to that state?
I currently receive unemployment in Florida. I may have the possibility of moving to another state.will I get the same unemployment then it just transfers to the new state or will I lose my benefits?

I think you have to re-apply every state you go to, and their might be some "Proof of Residency" issues. I don't know if you can draw Unemployment in a state that you don't have long-term residency in, but i'm not sure.

You'd have to check with their local Unemployment office that your moving to, more than likely. You could get ahold of the Unemployment office in Florida, they might know, but more than likely the state you're moving to is gonna have a better answer.

Also fyi, sometimes benefits change from state to state, which is another issue you might run into.
