I know there's at least one, if not more, Shooter threads, but I can't find them at the moment.
He has a new album coming out in February and released a song from it a couple days ago.
Scott H. Biram is on it too, so that's a win/win for me.

Yeah, I did too.
Although if I understand right, Family Man was mostly more mellow sentimental stuff because The Other Life is going to be mostly (for lack of a better word)rowdier tracks. Id rather have two albums more mixed up than than two trying to convey the same thing through the whole album. That said, if the original plan was for it to be a double album, that's probably why it's that way.
If I like this whole album anywhere near as much as I like this track I'm gonna dig the hell out of it. But, if Scott H. Biram popped up on a Justin Beiber song I'd probably love that too, the man can do no wrong in my mind.

Yeah I'm super looking forward to this. They put something on Facebook that they're going to have a pre-order bundle for this and the new Fifth On The Floor album that comes out the same day(that Shooter produced). I'm chomping at the bit and as soon as I see that it'll be ordered. They'll join the Tossers and Jayke Orvis albums I already have pre-ordered. It's gonna be a great Spring of new music for me.
Also have a ticket for Moonrunners Fest in Chicago that Shooter and Scott H. Biram are co-headlining along with a full day of other alt/underground country bands every one of which that I've heard I dig. http://www.reggieslive.com/show/moonrun … -festival/ April 27 can't get here quick enough.

This is only marginally Shooter related, but there probably isn't a ton of interest in this around here, so this is probably the best place for it. Shooter is playing the Farmageddon Records Fest this year (he did last year too) They put out a free sampler you can download of artists that are going to play the fest. There isn't any Shooter on there, but there's a bunch of good stuff if you're into the alt-country thing.

Here snippets of the album. I think it will be really good. Flyer Saucer Song sounds like a Black Ribbons sound. The rest is where I wanted him to go. A more mature sound. But still real. Soul. "Don't call me an outlaw, I'm a mother fucking Gunslinger". Enjoy that line mainstream country.
