Yeah, weird counting system. If working with Myles and the Conspirators is "solo"  then so too is Snakepit I guess.

Snakepit it seems was much more of a band collaboration than the most recent slash album. That was mainly just Myles and Slash. But he is in charge now calling all shots, probably like he did in Snakepit as well. So they aren't democracies like GNR or VR were. So yeah, I guess 5

Officially it's his 3rd solo album, although I understand the logic behind counting it as the 5th. I think he made only 1 true solo album, "Slash", cause all the others were band collaborations.

On the Myles/Alter Bridge subject:

“AB fans have no cause for worry. They will soon release a new CD and tour this year. I will catch Myles on the flip side.”

Another album of tasty guitar playing from Slash is always welcome.

If Anastasia came from the tour from the first Conspirators outing, imagine what may come now that they're even more settled and gelled together.

Also interested in hearing Frank Sidoris' studio input alongside Slash

Bobby Schneck left the band before the recordings. But I think you're right, it'll be Slash N' Myles. They make a very good good guitar pairing, they write together, so there's no need for Frank, aside touring. Also, I'm still not convinced that Frank would be such a good player.
