Let's be honest. GNR were an above par hair metal band. Sure they were VERY FAR above par, but still they can't touch the likes of Alter Bridge.

I enjoy Alter Bridge but I suspect Slash would be "the greater" act in terms of ticket revenue.

Although AB has always been a fairly modest achiever on charts but has developed a pretty strong underground following I think so it's not like an a AB tour doesn't do well.

But I dunno, the Slash show will also draw out the type of AB fans who are focused on Myles as the frontman, in addition to the legions of Slash/GNR die hards.
