Nah, the joke is fine.
Just catching up on some parts of this story, apparently they didn't rob that 7-11 last night. They were only there and it just happened to get robbed at the same time. That seems like it ripped right out of a black comedy or something like that.
I'm still interested in knowing what provoked these guys to do these acts.

Couple things:
MSNBC alluded several times in the beginning it happened on tax day, clearly leaning to angry white tea party type guy.
Second, we must secure our borders, my point was for all the Mexicans here most are just here to work hard. It is almost impossible to legally come here from Mexico. But any Tom, Dick, and Harry that wants to study in China, India, Saudi Arabia, etc gets in no problem. Just pissed at all this anti Mexican shit. Seal the fucking border, get the ones here tax id's and let them pay taxes.

And? What would you have them do, only talk about Muslims terrorists? Only talk about Islam? Because they talked about that possibility more than they did right wing terrorists, and actually brought up the possibility of left wing terrorists. There was no information about who the men were and it was open to speculation. Tax day and Patriots day do hold significance. And we've had just as bad terrorist attacks from right wingers as we have from Muslims, so it is relevant. It was absolutely within their duty to speculate who was behind it beyond one group of people. And they went out of their way to say they had no information who it was, they left open the possibility, which they should have.
These were not middle-eastern men, not only were they Russian, they spent most of their lives in THIS country.
I'd say the majority of Muslims here are here to work hard, too. And we have to consider OUR resources when it comes to immigration, and how unfair it is for all the people who went through the process legally. And it isn't that easy to get those student visas anymore.

What an insane 24 hours. I still can't believe they did what they did on Monday and stuck around town all week. Hell, suspect #2 went back to his college the next day. I'd like to know what led to last nights events. I can only guess that once they found out there faces were plastered all over the world the jig was up. So maybe they were going to try and flee but encountered an MIT police officer. Thought he might recognize them, so they shot and killed him. They needed a getaway car, hence the car jacking. But by that time the police were onto them and it was too late. Maybe they were far too brazen and just thought they'd get away with it and wouldn't be found out.
Too bad fuckers! Rot in hell!

Please look on google earth at how close that part of Russia is to Iraq. They are Muslim. They grew up right next to Armenia.

I am unsure of all this "right" wing terrorists you speak of. Maybe they were just crazy. Just like I wouldn't say they guy that tried to kill Regan was a liberal. He was crazy. As was Timothy McVie (sp). I probably deal with more illegals than anyone on this board. They are here because they are in high demand and are needed. So I am liberal when it comes to the Latin Americans but more conservative when it comes to the guns.

Use Google to see that they grew up IN AMERICA, dude. And they are, in fact, RUSSIAN, not middle-eastern. Sorry, you're wrong.
And are you seriously saying Timothy McVeigh wasn't a right wing extremist. He was a right wing terrorist as was Eric Rudolph who planted the bomb at the Atlanta Olympics. Not to mention all the fire bombings of abortion clinics and murders of doctors. Still unnsure of the right wing terror groups I speak of? So the 9-11 bombers were just crazy, not terrorists? The shoe bomber? Please. Your criteria is if anyone who commits a terrorist act is Muslim, they're a terrorist, if they're Christian, they're just crazy. The guy who shot Reagan had no political motivation to do it. That's the difference. McVeigh did. End of story.
I grew up in Florida in the middle of the citrus industry, and I can tell you that illegal immigrants have destroyed mexican-American communites in the agriculture fields. They have destroyed the livings of constructions workers, carpenters, lawn industries, etc. all of which used to pay a good living. Mexican Americans, who by the way are the biggest targets and victims of ID theft in America, are hurt the WORST. They are here for better wages at the expense of everyone else, not to attain the American dream.
It comes down to industries using slave wages to boost profits and liberal groups who want more political power from bigger Hispanic communities who vote democratic. I don't blame them for coming here to get better wages, but not at the expense of Americans they've fucked over to do it, without a single concern for them.
We have a system for work visas that is being bypassed by greedy and irresponsible people, that would solve the need for low wage workers. Your tune will change once its starts affecting white collar jobs, which it's starting to bleed into...
