Axl asks Zutaut how long this has been going on and why it was happening. He'd thought the idea of building the chicken coop was cool but this? "He said light is about energy and we are transferring a creative spirit and vibe into the light-bulb," says Zutaut. "He said, 'I really can't have the vibe of dirty depraved porn being a part of my light-bulb - it is really not what this light-bulb is about, you know?'

Sic, have you read Dan Kennedy's new book? I haven't, but I've read an exerpt from Seth Godin's blog that is about the recording industry and a light bulb. Not the same as what you're doing, but still pretty funny.

I'm not sure I agree here. Who knows who he actually is but he's clearly got regular access to what's going on internally at GNR or Jarmo wouldn't allow him to keep posting. We've all been around long enough now to know the only big updates are going to come from Axl himself and nobody else. Mysteron just offers a bit extra, kind of like the other band members and I guess it's up to each person whether they take it or leave it.

Isn't even vague, it's pretty direct actually, not good news admittedly but it's not vague. From his comments I think we can take it things are as they were a couple of months ago, Axls still in negotiations with the label. Mysterons lightswitch comment sounds about right, as soon as things are agreed it'll all start moving along because presumably the talks with the label are the last hurdle to jump before release (fingers crossed).
I understand the frustration with Mysteron's comments, at times he can be infuriating, but I just don't see it on this occasion.

Actually I do not find this funny at all. It is quite pathetic but not very funny. The way I look at it is the more time passes, the more people lose interest in this album. I rarely post anymore because it is boring. And I read what is posted here once in awhile and I notice people post less and less.

because there's nothing to talk about... oh, wait, fortus is playing with x japan or something and bumble is releasing another record 
the only thing i don't get is what could be so complicated to negotiate that it takes 4+ months?
