No, lay down new set of lyrics on already composed music with more loud guitars.
I guarentee you this has been done. The original lyrics were quite shit. The music was great though and there are some good remixes by amateur fans that show what could be done with the guitars.

Best leaked song I heard last week,,,,,,,,,, was Katy Perry's "Roar".
But Goin' Down was far better than that piece of trash song that leaked from Lady Gaga. FWIW.
The 2 different versions of "Better" were good, but I can't bother to get all worked up over re-worked versions of songs we've already heard. Been there, done that.
