Re: The Indie/Retro Video Games Thread

Well my group is satisfied with most of the music and sound effects I submitted them which I'm pleased finally. Worked fucking hard to get a good retro sound; but make it feel fresh. As for the game itself the rest of my group members are finishing up levels and tweaking game play features. We are presenting it on Wednesday at 4pm for my campus and getting some good audience QA testing. Then we will probably add a few more things and then release it to the public in some form. 16 We all made everything from scratch using various programs to play around with and make it our own. I helped with other things with the production with some art design ideas, some documentation, and game play concepts that we could try out.

A great game I only just discovered recently is Greg Sergeant Skullface. It starts very similiar to Super Meat Boy but quickly finds its own identity and is great for killing an hour.

Done & Done.  Damn, that hour blew by quickly.  Cool game tho.
