While Slash has the ability to create songs that are on another level than his typical filler, I really feel that there isn't much that separates songs like these from the Adler stuff. Which, hey, it's not bad...good classic rock, but is somewhat repetitive.

I feel like songs like Halo, Nothing To Say, and Ghost all have unique elements to them that separate them from typical Slash tracks. I haven't really heard a similar comp so far from this album, but hey, 17 songs so I'm sure Slash is saving his "big guns"

My thoughts too. I wonder if some ideas are even songs from the last album were thrown on this album. 17 songs is a lot. I doubt all were fresh newly written tunes. The stuff I've heard hasn't discouraged me though. Still think it will be a good release overall.
