Ultimate Warrior, Pipper, Dusty Rhodes all in just over 12 months. Quite shocking.

Was just listening to Pipper's radio show via youtube maybe just yesterday.

R.I.P. Sympathies to his friends and family.

Guys like Flair and Hogan must go to bed each night wondering if they'll wake up next morning.

RIP Roddy

John Carpenter's They Live was a HUGE influence on me as a kid. Maybe more so today, than then. Piper's part in it, was something he continued years later, speaking out against the government and survelliance state.

As a wrestler he was one of a kind. But in fairness to Roddy, Roddy did publicly say he would never live to the age of 65. He truly believed he wouldn't live that long. And he was wasn't wrong. 61... RIP... you were one of a kind Joe Nada.

This is one of my all time favorite quotes.

The 80s loses another icon. All of these deaths hit me on a gut level. I say it every time one of these celebs die but it's like a part of me dies with them.

We're all just one step closer....

I didn't see this thread when it happened.

I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed Piper's podcast. I spend a lot of time in the car so I had his podcasts set up to listen to all the time. He could tell stories (although he repeated some too often, I liked hearing them every time).

This little clip is my tribute to him. It's a lost are these days. Here Piper makes it personal and creates an entertainment value that is of a high caliber. This is what they call in the wrestling world, a shoot. A blending of a 'fake' story line and real live feeling and events.
