Re: Donald Trump running for President
This is not a radical Muslim. This is a "scholar". Haha. This may not be what majority believe but some do think like this.

I am all about freedom of religion. I am also about protecting the United States people
Re: Donald Trump running for President
You can't implement that as a policy. If you were to implement a policy that rigidly stated that no people of the islamic faith without US citizenship can enter the US, you would be so screwed.
There are many in the west who are just like you and I. In Canada, UK, RoI, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Austrailia. And there will even be some who are citizens of other countries we regard as part of the West's unwritten but sort of known "friendy" and safe" list of countries e.g. Japan, South Korea will have some. To block people entering is stupid, just on a practical level. There will be people who are both a) muslim and b) working for large multi national companies that require them to travel frequently for work, often to the US.
To block them from entering because they identify as Muslim is in no simple terms FUCKING RETARDED, and terrible for doing any sort of business with any countries in the "First World".
That practicality alone, and it's safe to say if this plan was given more than a few hours thought there are other scenarios and practicalites that blow a hole straight through this are why this not implementable. On top of that it's morally shite and goes against everything the great ol' USA stands for and no doubt violates one of your ammendments that you like to hold up and protect vigorously whenever it is convenient.
Your potential future president is looking more like an international clown as the days go by, and has all the potential to be more of an embarrassment to your country than Dubya ever was.

Interesting poem:
"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."
Re: Donald Trump running for President
Keep more radical Muslims from entering the US.
No one's disagreeing with that, all I'm saying is that you don't lump the bad in with the good. You don't trample people's rights because some of them happen to believe in the same holy book as a bunch of murderous idiots who happen to interpret said book a bit too literally.
I don't know any Christian terrorists and the lone wolf abortion clinics does not count as that.
You must not be looking very hard... what about Hutaree, Army of God or SCA? Of course there are radical Christian terrorist groups (KKK anyone?), just like there are for instance radical vegetarian terrorist groups like the ALF, just like about any other religious or political group of likeminded people runs the risk of a small group of radicals misrepresenting them. That's no reason to villainize entire communities...

The 300+ Americans that went to Syria to fight for Isis, no, I would not let them back in the US. That is what France does and look what happened. Open borders have an ugly side.

KKK was a the hate group that also hated Catholics blacks and Jews. If you know your shit you would know the Catholic faith is the first ever Christian religion. The KKK in 2015 is irrelevant. They claim to be Christian, but where in the bible does it say kill blacks, Jews, Catholics? Stop trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Every faith has crazies. Only Islam currently has this global issue at the moment. I hate when people say "well Christians are bad too". What the fuck. Of course there are bad Buddhists, Christians, Jews, Muslims. But Jihad is much more systemic.

7% of Germany was Nazi, the silent majority stood by as the Nazis killed millions. 1.5 Billion Muslims letting a 1 million radicals ruin everything.
Re: Donald Trump running for President
We take refugees in from all over the world plus illegal immigrants from Mexico, Central America, and South America.
As does every fucking civilized country, what's your point?
How many refugees has Saudi Arabia, UAE, etc taken?
2 million are in Turkey, 1.4 million in Jordan, 1.2 million in Lebanon, about 250k in Irak, about 250k in the UAE. What are you saying, that muslim countries don't take in refugees? Europe is going to take in about 120k, the US is looking to accept a measly 10k. What are you talking about saying muslim countries don't do their part? Saudi Arabia is a villainous state, let's not model ourselves after them.
Why are the young men not fighting back fighting for their cities?
You think they're not? You really think they're ok with what's happening to their country? That their religion commands them to accept what's happening to their homes, their cities, their way of life? Sorry, I don't mean to be rude but there's no other way to put this, but that's one of the most ignorant statements I've read in a while...
Have you seen what is going on in Europe? Those economies cannot handle that influx either and it is causing big problems.
Europe is doing what it needs to do, it is not shirking its responsibilities like Trump is proposing the US should do. The impact of roughly 150k refugees on the European economy is going to be minimal. The impact of locking down Brussels out of sheer fear, the impact of woefully incapable intelligence programs that spy in citizens on the other hand...
ISIS doesn't rely on refugees to do their bidding, they radicalize EU and US muslims. Shutting our borders for one religion won't do a damn thing, and will likely only create more polarization.
Not to mention that you simply can't implement the policy anyway, you can't ask people about their religion and even if you do they can easily lie and there's no real way to find out.

It is a fucked up deal for sure. Jordan and Lebanon are doing their part. Turkey just shot down a Russian jet. Not sure I trust them at them at the moment. The Saudi's I guess are busy fighting Yemen. But as a whole, that area hasn't done enough. The ground invasion should be the local countries with US assistance.
