Atari, there are areas of town I won't go either. So I don't know how big of a deal this is. We have some very bad crime areas in our urban areas of the US.

Absolutely not. Used to live near Birmingham and have been through plenty times. I actually got a Uni offer from there during college, I might have even lived there.
I really don't think you know the source of that video, it a edited BNP video. A joke party where half of it's supporters are low rent skin head racist scum types that belong in jail. They are not even close relevant in UK politics. You can google BNP yourself and see what they're all about.
Muslim population of Birmingham at last estimation at the last census was around a 1/3. That's significantly higher proportion than most of the UK. That still doesn't make it a no go area. You could literally walk around for 20 minutes and not see a Muslim. Now as for streets here and there where people congregate. You get that in major cities any where in the world. It's like walking Toronto and saying there's a Korean problem because there's a street where there's a number of Korean shops/stores.
This no go zone myth goes further than that, they're suggesting that people of different religions simply can't walk down those streets in safety? Complete fucking nonsense and sensationalism.

More on these "no go" zones...
Disgruntled Brummies took to Twitter to express their disdain for Mr Emerson's characterisation of their home city.
Fox News issued a retraction, pointing out that 21 per cent of Birmingham is Muslim, with 46.1 per cent identifying as Christian.
After being contacted by The Telegraph, Mr Emerson released a fulsome apology, saying he "clearly made a terrible error for which I am deeply sorry".
He added he was going to make a donation to a Birmingham charity and take out an ad in a Birmingham newspaper.
In a statement, he said: “I have clearly made a terrible error for which I am deeply sorry. My comments about Birmingham were totally in error. And I am issuing an apology and correction on my website immediately for having made this comment about the beautiful city of Birmingham.
“I do not intend to justify or mitigate my mistake by stating that I had relied on other sources because I should have been much more careful. There was no excuse for making this mistake and I owe an apology to every resident of Birmingham. I am not going to make any excuses. I made an inexcusable error. And I am obligated to openly acknowledge that mistake.”

Re: Donald Trump running for President
Truth is usually somewhere in the middle. Not as bad or as good as you think. Don't worry, there are areas in the US they call a no zone area too. But let's not down play what Pollux is saying. It is not as Rosey as you see it. But he doesn't live in the UK.
Re: Donald Trump running for President
There is no middle ground on the Emerson comments. It was complete nonscence and they themselves where forced to back track. What is your definition of a no go zone Smoking? Trump/Carson/Jindal define it as a place I for example shouldn't be able to go anywhere near without threat of violence based upon religion.
You're using the example of "urban areas" in relation to these supposed widespread Muslims no go areas.

I am agreeing with you Atari. That was my point. Anyway, looks like there are SOME instances of protest.

So of all the videos I posted the past couple pages where they interview residents or talk about the immigration process or show people buying steak and lotto tickets you don't find a grain of truth in any of it? Are you being honest here?
Re: Donald Trump running for President
The no go zones is somewhat of a hyperbole. I am not surprised you can freely walk through these areas without much issue. They are Muslims, not wild beasts. Though I'd think about taking a cab if you are gay or an attractive young woman.
However even the Police talk about these zones. The Swedes define a no go zone as areas where officers are reluctant to enter without backup. From what I have heard you could perhaps compare it to native american areas in America. The police will enter, but not unless serious since they fear the backlash.
Though I suspect native americans aren't attacking police and emergency personnel to the point where the latter demands armed escorts to even service these areas. Yeah, ambulances get stoned, set on fire, shot at etc. just for entering some of these places.
Don't know how it is in the UK.
