Ex-Guns N' Roses star Slash has claimed Amy Winehouse is on the "verge of greatness".The guitarist said that Winehouse was "cool" and described her as rock 'n' roll because she "doesn't take any s**t".
He told the Daily Star: "Amy's cool, she's carrying the torch for rock 'n' roll.
"I think she's great. Not so much because of her personal choices, but because she's a great singer with a unique sound and style. And she doesn't take any s**t."
He added: "She's on the verge of greatness, but it would be regrettable if her talent was overshadowed by her extra-curricular activities.
"She's at a crossroads. I hope she makes the right decision."

Okay this may seem a strange observation but both Slash and Duff seem fascinated with the British Scene. How much more Aware their scene is!@#$? Whatever.. I have to agree with the Lyrics in American Man. Yes I am an American. My Family bailed on Europe a long time ago. My ancestors fought to be free and heard. Sorry I don't want their issues and their issues are not ours in America (thank God) These guys seem to have listened so long to the baby boomers they forgot their roots and their story. They forgot the story is not just theirs. There are very few people who would/could call this group of musicians on the carpet. I expect them to avoid them and anything else uncomfortable or unpopular like it's the plague. Such Ego such contempt for everything America. Go find a Canadian.... it will only bring you back home if you dig deep enough anyway.... There are only two ways they should be going,,, I see no evidence that they are capable of being honest enough with themselves to even entertain the obvious truth their situation calls for. Scot is spot on.... No offense Amy Winehouse....But I'm "Not the doctor"....Get a grip....
