Re: Donald Trump running for President
They all now have Totalitarian jams...
Anybody remember that viral video that the State Department Propagandists put out that had the little black girl singing how "Obama is gonna save us all, oooh yeah, he's gonna save us" or however the fuck it went. They had her intentionally sing it like an "old Negro spiritual", so it came across as a Church Hymn, like Obama was Christ or something.
All of it is really lame.
Other than that... I got mad respect for Trump's massive BALLS. Going around, at his caliber, and saying things like "what's the difference between Bill Clinton & Bill Cosby?", Bin Laden didn't die in 2011, "Obama & Hilary created ISIS"
That shit is brutal honesty, and frankly it's gonna get a bullet in him if he's not careful.
Still... ballsy.
Re: Donald Trump running for President
My feeling is Trump is comfortably in the establishment pocket. I remember that Obama birth certificate thing. Just when that was picking up steam Trump started fronting it, and a few days later Obama released his (fake) certificate to the media. Then all the air left the balloon. My feeling then was he was brought in to play that particular part, make the "birthers" look like fools.
That his certificate was an obvious hack job didn't seem to matter much.
Re: Donald Trump running for President
Well and another theory has been that Trump was brought in to steal all of Rand Paul's supporters, and frankly... it worked. Trump is saying things Paul, as well as his father Ron, has been saying for years. Hilary/Dems/Establishment/Bilderbergers/Whoeverthefuck aren't scared in the least of Rubio, Bush, Christie, Fiorina (?), whatever getting elected because all of them are sellouts. Cruz is probably a sellout too because suddenly he's gotten a BIG push, and the irony of it all is he's basically a Hispanic Obama, with his whole Cuban immigrant story, when he had no identification with it, and up until the last year or two was a Canadian citizen and had been raised up there all of his life. Where's all the birthers asking for Cruz's birth certificate and questioning HIS dead beat father that didn't have anything to do with him up until the last ten years or so? Where are those Republican boot lickers?
Trump could just be a total mark.
I don't buy it though. Trump wouldn't be wasting his money on this otherwise. I think he's in it, but Trump like anyone else, Michael Moore, Obama, George W. Bush, are Provocateurs. They don't work on fear, they work on doubt and self-loathing. They provoke, and people evoke. And it works like a charm.
Trump is the "Axl card". He really could go either way. He could be the savior of America, or the death of the country for good. The guy is totally in it for himself, and basically is an American version of Vladimir Putin running for President.
I don't think that's a bad thing though. Putin, good or bad, is a natural-born leader, that isn't in it for any business, corporation, or government. He's in it FOR HIM. His ego. Trump is the same.
America hasn't had a leader like that for a very long time. It could be a great success that America needs or a total fucking disaster. That's part of the charm, but Trump knows how to play their game, and is shoving it back down their throats and it's driving them nuts. That i'm enjoying the hell out of watching. I get a laugh a day at least.
The rest are dark match jobbers. Paul & Cruz would probably make someone a decent VP, but nothing more. Sanders is a fucking loon, "Global Warming is the reason we have ISIS" ( ). Hilary... I would vote for Satan himself before Hilary, less risk, let's put it that way.
And yes Obama's birth certificate was a hoax/hackjob. I didn't believe it at first, and thought it was neo-Con conspiracy, but when I looked into it... yes, everything about Obama was a total fucking work.

Trump is not nearly intelligent enough to be a real leader of an important and influential nation. Nor is he educated enough. It'd be a disaster of unseen proportions.
Sanders is a fucking loon, "Global Warming is the reason we have ISIS" ( ). Hilary... I would vote for Satan himself before Hilary, less risk, let's put it that way.
He never said that, he said "Global warming is the biggest threat to our national security", which admittedly is also a silly position to take. Bernie states that the reason we have ISIS is the second Gulf war, and I would tend to agree with that.

Any and all of the physical evidence for this has been debunked, all that's left are so called expert reports. I think you had it right the first time around: this is a neo-con conspiracy theory.

Did you actually see it? It was an obvious photoshop job.
The only problem for Obama is that numerous electronic document experts have shown, using steps that anyone can repeat with if they have the proper software, that the document the White House so proudly uploaded is not simply a scanned version of an original paper document. Instead, it’s what’s called a “layered” document. A document that’s scanned will have only one layer, which is the image itself. A “layered,” electronically manipulated document will show one electronic addition after another. The White House’s birth certificate PDF has nine layers. This was an assembled electronic document, not a scanned paper document.
Now why someone would do that is another question, but it certainly suggests some form of forgery.

Obama is prez, so too late now. But I too don't think he was born in the US.
Cruz is a clown.
Sanders at least believes in something, which is saying something, but it is pretty much the total opposite of what I believe.
I feel like Trump is going to win this shit. Crazy as fuck.
I don't want him to deport all the illegals.
I do want him to build a wall.
I am okay with banning people that have recently traveled to or from Most of the bad Middleast countries where ISIS is carrying out acts of violence until shit calms down.

Yeah, when I first heard that, I was taken aback as well. But then National Review analyzed the claim, and it turns out that if you scan an image in Adobe illustrator and don't uncheck OCR and Optimize, it creates a layered document by default. I don't have illustrator so I can't confirm this, but it seems a better explanation than that it's fake (occam's razor and all). Furthermore, there's absolutely no point for him to lie about his birth certificate, since his mother was born in the US, which makes him a natural born citizen even if he wasn't born on US soil. Plus, if you just imagine how many people would need to be in on this conspiracy, it doesn't register as even remotely feasible to me.
The whole birther thing is just... ugh...

I'm not so sure about that, if republican would be able to prove this, it probably would be good grounds to repeal a number of his accomplishments. If they truly believe he doesn't meet the requirements to serve as president, they should pursue it, they can probably get the supreme court to nullify obamacare, which as we all know is a wet dream of theirs.
Cruz is a clown.
Hey SG, we agree on a political issue, who'd have thought it was possible
Sanders at least believes in something, which is saying something, but it is pretty much the total opposite of what I believe.
Disagreement is good, that's how we learn and eventually come up with better solutions. I like your stance on this, respectfully disagreeing with someone after a healthy debate is what honest and intellectually curious people do. I'm curious though, why is it the total opposite of what you believe? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that there's a big chance that if you look beyond the 'socialist' stigma he proudly carries, you'd find a lot to agree with (like, apparently, the majority of Americans according to polls on the issues).

The wall is just crazy nonsense, totally infeasible. But the deportation of illegals I actually support. Illegal immigrants are in the US uhm... illegally, so deporting them is just following the law. Asylum seekers are not illegal immigrants though, so as long as they're going through the vetting process, I don't feel they should be deported. That kinda forces the government to analyze the individual cases more quickly, so then can send the rejected ones back ASAP, without sending people back that truly deserve refugee status.
On the travelers, we've had this discussion already, but it's completely impractical to implement this given that most Syrian terrorists never entered or left the Syria or Iraq legally anyway there's no way to know if they've been there. Most ISIS terrorists come from wealthy European countries, and I can't fathom the US banning everyone who's recently been in Europe from entering the country.

10) The investigators have said during their press conferences that one of their most serious concerns is that the White House document appears to have been fabricated piecemeal on a computer, inferentially by drawing together digitized data from several genuine birth certificates. Not the least of the reasons why the investigators have reached this conclusion is that the distribution of the electronic data between nine distinct “layers” exhibits characteristics untypical of a paper document that has been scanned to create a simple, digitized photographic image that may (0r may not) also have been processed either to sharpen the image using optical character-recognition software or to compress the file-size by using file-compression or optimization software.
11) The investigators told me that the electronic data file of the White House document, when opened in Adobe Illustrator, can be separated into nine separate data “layers” and one “clipping-mask path” that groups the layers. Forensic experts for the Cold Case Posse established that these layers were not an artifact either of optimization or of optical character recognition. In any event, statements from the governor of Hawaii and from the White House Press Office establish a chain of custody whereby no mention was made of any alteration or processing of the photocopied images at any point.

To be a natural born citizen you must be born in the US or a US territory or a US military base. This is why Cruz is having questions raised, because he was born in Canada. He is a citizen because his mom is a citizen but not a "natural born" citizen.
