Re: HBO's A Game of Thrones
The violence is necessary. The nudity however... well it's no one wonder certain actresses supposedly refuse to do it when actually makes sense, considering they write in so many random scenes where characters are naked for no reason.
There's no excuse for Melissandre to be naked in every other scene or for a random Missandei bath scene (she's like 10 years old in the books) or for Ros (who didn't even exist in the books, but got way too much screen time).
Their's a scene where Daario brings Daenerys the heads of the captains from the other mercenary companies. It a book scene, however for some reason in the show Emilia Clarke is naked in a bath. It's no surprise she supposedly refused to do nudity again after it.
Re: HBO's A Game of Thrones
I could make an exception for Melissandre. Her assets can frankly not get enough screen time.
Generic nudity on the other hand is just boring, and male genitalia is disgusting.
Do you have an idea what they will make the finale out of this season? I expect to see Dani finally land in Westeros.

Theirs alot of rumors and alleged spoilers, but they seem like guesses .
I think Danny getting to or leaving for Westros will happen and along with Winter
arriving in Westros properly.
If there's only 2 seasons left then The Others (White walkers for non readers) will presumably make their move in the season final too.
Re: HBO's A Game of Thrones
I really have no problem with the nudity, it's not distracting for me, and it's usually used for comic reasons, IMO. The bath scene was more to show the incestuous relationship between her and her brother, which is important for their family history.
I have to do another marathon viewing again.

That's not the bath scene I meant. There's been more than a few.
What comic reasons?
I'm fine with nudity, but its really just shoved in randomly at times just because they're on HBO. It means you end with cast members refusing to do it when it actually matters to the plot.
They litterally hire porn stars for the random brothel scenes now.

Any scene with Peter Dinklage and naked chicks

Those are relevant to his character. He's got a drinking problem and has to buy whores, because he doesn't believe anyone could love him. Then there's Shae's manlipuation of him. She less sympathetic in the books.
Not really supposed to be comic.
