Re: The NHL 2007-08 Season Thread
So Pittsburgh lost and Montreal wins the east. I don't know about what everyone else thinks, but I think Pittsburgh played to lose today. They knew that Ottawa was in trouble and decided it would be easier to face them instead of a healthy Flyers team in the opening round... They didn't even play Crosby today. In any event, it's great to have Montreal on top after all these years. Mission 16 W starts Tuesday.

Re: The NHL 2007-08 Season Thread
Montral in 4
Pittsburgh in 7
Washington in 6
Rangers in 7
Detroit in 5
San Jose in 7 (I think it'll be the best series of the 1st round)
Minnesota in 5
Dallas in 6
No real upsets but that's the way it goes I guess. Could see Calgary or Ottawa pulling an upset but I don't expect it.

Playoffs have been pretty good through 2 nights. I didn't get to see the Dallas-Anaheim game at all though, did any of you catch it? How did the Stars beat them 4-0?
Tonight Philly-Washington starts up. I'm excited. Go Caps!

Washington game was great. Ovechkin with the winner... Briere getting 3 points. Minnesota evens it up in OT with Colorado.
Penuins and Rangers are in the 2-0 position, Pens looking dominant and Rangers winning both road games. I don't want to write off Jersey or Ottawa but they better step up in game 3.
