According to TMZ, Prince has died.
Saw him 2 years ago and was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Loved his latest albums too. Shame.

DEFINITELY an underrated guitarist & musician. That guy could shred. Ashame he kinda struggled in the 90s, with the whole name thing & record label, would've been sick to hear him put out a grungy rock album with sick guitar work.
I saw a documentary about him a while back. Very good. He was on fire back in the 80s. They said he was a known musician early on, but the label wasn't sure if he could be marketed. He spend basically a year in the studio writing & recording Purple Rain album. He basically wrote & recorded everything, although I don't think he played drums on it. One hit song, I forget but I think it's When Doves Cry, he took out the bass track on the master. The producer & label were like wtf you can't have a song without a bass guitar line, but he took it out at the last second. Sure enough, massive hit.
