That got heated quick. While we were talking sunshine and lollipops about CDII/tour you guys were battling over Isis in the Jungle. I should've jumped into the discussion.

I agree with Axlin that Russia is who to watch but I don't think the one world government is feasible even if TPTB truly want it. IMO the closest we will ever get to that is the world being in 2 or 3 huge blocs....the west and its vassal states.....Russia and its vassal states....and something else probably revolving around China and Africa will be the future playground where they battle for resources if it ever reaches that point.

Isis is a real threat and I think Axlin might have been exaggerating a bit to make his point. The problem isn't necessarily Isis but terrorism in general. One decade its Al Queda, the next Isis, and something else may take its place in the future. Terrorism is like cancer.....we give it chemotherapy in the form of bombs and just when you think it might be under control, it spreads somewhere else.

The major powers(Us, Russia, EU, and maybe even China) are going to have to unite to deal with this problem. One country tackling it clearly doesn't work. In some examples it does work in the short term(Russia-Chechen rebels) yet it never really goes away.

This is where I come from. I live in a post-nationalist world in my head, for the most part. I'm a citizen of the world(!)

It's asinine to me how people don't come together to help each other & help evolve. Instead of bickering & bombing ourselves to extinction we should be trying to preserve this place & also looking to get off it to colonize somewhere else, to make room for us all. We've got it the wrong way round, fighting over a piece of ground, or a religion(!). Madness. Of course people are entitled to their beliefs, it's just they're wrong & stupid for doing so!

I really don't like the rhetoric of blaming Russia for everything now. I'm not talking about the US election, I'm talking about our politicians here blaming Russia for all the world's problems currently.
