Re: US Politics Thread
The media is in the tank for HRC. 80% of the media describes themselves as a democrat. It is very obvious that outside of Fox that every other news outlet is openly campaigning against Trump. This false War on Women propaganda is such load of horseshit. I guess since the blacks aren't motivated to vote for Hillary they need to make it a gender issue.
Stop whining about the media man, you're a big boy, you can make up your own mind... not just follow someone else's opinion who just happens to say things that superficially sound good to you, by the way. Look stuff up, investigate, read the numbers. Trump would be a disaster for your country as well as the rest of the world, and if you forget about the so-called media bias and look into his policies for yourself, you'd realize that. No thoughts on the video? Still think he's fighting for the little guy?
The US is becoming a service industry like Britain and much of Europe has begun. When you stop making shit it is hard to survive. We need industry back in the US. It lifts the lower class.
That's an interesting supposition, but where do you get that idea? I don't have the numbers, but my hunch would be that most unskilled labor (aka the lower class) can be found in the service industry, you know: hairdressers, burger flippers, valets, cashiers, greeters, ...
Do you think I "like Trump"? It isn't about that.
It is about the Supreme Court to me now mainly. If Clinton wins, it will be some left wing fucking court for a minimum 50 fucking years and the constitution will be assfucked by the time it is over. Clinton won't affect me, but my kids and grandchildren. Need balance on the court. With her it will be a super majority left wing.
I think you're fighting against windmills on that one. Yes, it'll be a more progressive supreme court if/when Hillary is in office, but why is that a bad thing? Which conservative decisions has SCOTUS made that actually panned out well in the past? Citizens United? Shelby v. Holder? Greece v. Galloway? Burwell v. Hobby Lobby? Half of those have increased corruption and bribery in the US, and the other half are to pander to religious wackjobs... I don't think there's been a single conservative SCOTUS decision that actually had a positive impact in the past 10 years...
Re: US Politics Thread
Is the War on Women a real thing? What is the end game? To be treated like a man with no special treatment or keep special treatment and to arrest any man that finds you sexually attractive? Rape and sexual assault is already illegal. This is more fictitious than "hands up don't shoot". War on women only exists if you are a republican. If you are a democrat than "NOTHING TO SEE HERE".
Equal pay for equal work, which still isn't the case.
No interference with their healthcare, like forced vaginal probes.
Not to be sexually harrased and stopping the culture of SH from entitled asshats like Trump.
Two black men were literally shot, unarmed with their hands up, in the last six months, so no, it is not fictitious.
No one is trying to arrest anyone for finding anyone else attractive. That's fictitious.
Democrats have been accused of sexual harassment also. No one is picking on Republicans.
Daily Beast actually broke it down once. Left me find it:
• The number of sex scandals has increased dramatically over the past few decades, thanks to technology, new press standards, and a post-Clinton belief that everything is fair game.
• Republicans have more scandals (35 to 28), but Democrats have bigger ones, based on our methodology (13 out of the top 20).
• Democrats tend to have more problems with harassment, staffers, and underage girls; Republicans tend to have more problems with prostitutes, hypocrisy, and underage boys.
To offer some clarity, we’ve broken the scandals into categories, and graded them Cook Report-style. We also ranked all sex scandals overall, using a methodology that accounted for whether a crime was committed, versus inappropriate behavior; whether the charges were proven, versus alleged; the level of office held; and whether the incident involved children, staff, a cover-up or hypocrisy.
Prostitution
This category combines both those who solicited a prostitute but for whatever reason did not accept—think former Idaho Senator Larry Craig—and those who went ahead and became johns. Republicans by a count of six-to-one have been involved in prostitution scandals. For our rankings, soliciting prostitution without accepting it was weighted slightly lower than becoming a john.
Solid Republican (6-1)
Staffer
There’s a clear abuse of power when a politician and his employee is involved in a sex scandal. Democrats, by a count of 16 to six, have seemingly leveraged that power imbalance more.
Solid Democrat (16-6)
Hypocrisy
Almost half the sex scandals we turned up involved someone saying one thing while doing another. The earliest example was womens’ rights champion Robert Packwood, who in 1992 was infamously slapped with several sexual-harassment and abuse charges from former female staffers.
Solid Republican (17-9)
Sexual harassment
Whether threats or phone calls, it’s mostly been Democrats.
Solid Democrat (9-2)
Adultery
Bipartisanship? More of a personal ethical issue rather than a legal one, the adultery category is the most populated, with Republicans and Democrats nearly even, with the Schwarzenegger scandal tipping the category to the Republicans.
Lean Republican (21-20)
Inappropriate conduct with a minor
This type of scandal indicates at the least a serious flaw or lapse in judgment. The most infamous example is former Representative Mark Foley, who exchanged sexually charged emails and instant messages with underage pages. Two Republicans and one Democrat have been involved in this type of scandal.
Lean Republican (2-1)
Sexual relations with a minor
Far more serious than above: the most serious charge, in fact, among all recent political sex scandals. Conviction carries more than a decade in jail, based on federal sentencing guidelines.
Toss up (3-3)
Out-of-wedlock child
Three Republicans have confirmed having children as a result of extramarital affairs, compared to one Democrat. Of course, Schwarzenegger is the latest.
Solid Republican (3-1)
Sexual assault
Six Democrats have faced allegations of sexual assault, compared to four for Republicans.
Lean Democrat (6-4)
Cuckolding
Republicans have had four scandals involving an affair with a married woman—compared to one for Democrats. The only woman on this list, Helen Chenoweth, created a cuckquean (who knew?) out of her lover’s wife.
Solid Republican (4-1)
Coverup
Either with money or behind-the-scenes wrangling or just weak denial lies, six Republicans have been caught covering up a sex scandal, compared with three Democrats, with payoffs ranging from $150,000 or a job for a spouse to, allegedly, $20.
Lean Republican (6-3)

Better than Pornhub for you guys huh?
I don't see the appeal frankly. The notion alone that he would claim the media was conspiring against him and the election itself was rigged, is an affront to our democracy. (Funny he never said this once during the GOP primary either) It's a dangerous precedent to say the least and could lead to violence post election.
He's tapping the hardcore base here, the 28-30%. The Brietbarts, the Infowar subscribers...this is red meat for them. But he's alienating everybody else in the process.
True, it is an affront to democracy. Media are supposed to be objective and factual. Instead they are blowing up every Trump fart into a nuclear bomb while letting Hillary get away with murder. They've dropped talking about the issues too, couldn't win on that. Now it has descended into pure "sexist! racist!" mania. Personally I think that is a more dangerous precedent for democracy.
If 30% of Americans are on Breitbart and Alex Jones you have bigger problems than Donald Trump to worry about. Should tell you something about how fed up people have become. 10 years ago all of that was a small fringe.

Re: US Politics Thread
It's amazing how much head burying is going on.
We got to this point with Trump because more and more people are fed up with the establishment. Instead of doing something to address that, they keep doing what the establishment does, which just gives the people that support him more and more resolve. Trump is pathetic, but hasn't collapsed under the weight that would have crushed others. Instead of acknowledging that, they just keep piling on. This is going to get ugly for the establishment next time around when Trump isn't their torch bearer...they are alienating too many people that will never come back.
Re: US Politics Thread
Curious...what happens if you have a sexual relationship with a subordinate that results in marriage?
Is that considered a scandal?
That's a good question because that has happened before. Newt Gingrich comes to mind... But I'm not sure his current wife worked for him at the time.
Re: US Politics Thread
And talking about how you're gonna date a 10-year-old in 10 years ...
That's beyond peverted. It's sick.
YOu ever read any books about Kennedy? He did that shit all the time.....even to 4-5 year olds sitting on his lap.
Some of those types live in their own world.
I guess I have mentally accepted HRC as next pres. Though isn't as "cool" as Barack, she does think a lot more like a republican in many ways.
She's a neocon. Don't worry.....the trains will keep running on time.
Its funny how none of these stories ever came out over the decades but one minute til midnight, every woman that has ever been in a room with the guy was sexually assaulted.
Also funny to see dems bitch at others for picking Trump when they spent years defending Bill from rape accusations and sticking his cigars up cunts. The people defending Trump are just doing the same thing you were doing back then. These people need to stand in front of a mirror when offering criticisms.
Two black men were literally shot, unarmed with their hands up,
Turning tragedies into a political issue for points. Once someone starts caring about all the unarmed people being shot by cops.... then maybe their complaints will be genuine.
black guy on PCP freaking out in the street approaching cops gets shot by cops= massive outrage
white teenager gets shot by cops while out on a date= no one gives the tiniest of shits
SJW claim anyone pointing out this fact is racist. Spare me...

When not talking down to people you make great points.
I agree and the next election is going to be even more interesting than this one. Just wait until the people get behind someone who can actually win.

NOTHING TO SEE HERE!!!! Hahaha
Just out of curosity, did you actually read most of the wikileaks stuff? There wasn't much at all to report there.
