Re: US Politics Thread
I think you can't piss off the CIA, like Trump has done and get away with it.
They're going to get him(leak damaging information or acquire such info) when the time comes or some rogue employee will leak stuff.
Those tax returns will be damaging for sure.
And yes the people who didn't vote because they bought the polls are to blame.
I don't think Hillary was that bad of a candidate.
Had she won she would have ran for re-election in 2020.
I thought she needed a better VP pick.
More than qualified to be President.
In fact she should pull a Richard Nixon (He lost in 1960 and later won in 1968, obviously it would be the next election).
No one that I know of has run for President after losing the popular vote.
If Hillary runs she needs a good inspiring VP pick like Gavin Newsom or Cory Booker.
Anyhow, the hysteria around Trump is pretty crazy. A lot of things with him I don't agree with. But, give him more than a month ya know?

Re: US Politics Thread
Can we talk about how the GOP and others just would not stop about Hillary's emails but Trump is taking national security calls in the middle of a restaurant and has classified material on his dinner table while waiters are milling about and diners are within earshot?

Really makes you wonder if they really stood for anything...if they ever really meant anything they said...or if they are just as full of shit as anyone.

And he still has his unsecured Android phone, which is a risk even if he doesn't use it.

Re: US Politics Thread
Let me clarify that last post. I don't think this code-carrying guy is supposed to be a secret, per se. He's clearly visible with the president in many places. I just think it's pretty tacky to do what the guy did in posting about it. It "seems" like that's not something you'd want to be flaunting.
Whatever, just me.
I'm done for today.
Mnuchin, Shulkin, McMahon, labor secretary all get confirmed today and tomorrow, it appears.

They stand for nothing: Family values, financial matters, national security, they don't care, and their constituents will follow/repeat anything. They proved it with Obama and they are proving it again with Trump. It's maddening to watch.

This.
Trump has made a lot of enemies already, and he had a lot of enemies prior. Leaks are doing to happen, and I expect something big eventually.
