No, I absolutely agree. That was my point. I don’t think Trump “meant” it when he cheered on with “Lock her up” either. Petraeus didn’t do any time for mishandling classified information, and unless someone has evidence Clinton ordered staffers to destroy cell phones and hard drives after a congressional subpoena, good luck getting a conviction for obstruction.

It’s classless and pandering to the crazies as you said, but it’s nothing new. Yet at least Trump says his bravado to audiences, rather than behind closed doors.

Pelosi isn't chanting it to 20,000 morons at a pep rally, and those nutjobs willing to vote for the next President on that chant alone, neglecting 15 other qualified candidates. So theres that.

That aside, I don't wanna come off as 'I need the context', but I think it was a bit of a stall tactic comment. She was likely being drilled about her commitment, and she's not willing enough to go there, and she barked back she's plenty willing to go there. Also, could've related to just not having enough evidence yet, and I think she's right about that. Possibly, she's been tipped off, or has a hunch, that buried in this is more serious crimes, or clear evidence of obstruction, but she wants to wait to obtain it.

I agree I don't think Dems should pursue it impeachment yet. If little to nothing more comes out I'm not sure it's worth trying, but I think Pelosi's right in waiting for more.

I can't believe someone thought it was smart to leak that comment, unless it was one of the socialist dems trying to put her in a bad spot. She is so passive aggressive towards AOC and her bunch it's hilarious.

Tapes released today of Trump's lawyer asking for inside information in regards to Flynn and eluding to a pardon if they would play ball.

Not that we needed a smoking gun, but we've got one now on obstruction.

I'm sure you MAGA freaks will tell me the sky is really green now, huh?

Anyone care to opine on how Pelosi saying "I want to see Trump in prison" is positive or productive?

If he wasn't president right now, as Mueller stated, he'd be charged with a crime. Just like a great deal of his associates were, because they're not the president. Trump committed crimes out in the open, Mueller's report also said he's not innocent of crimes, so it's pretty easy to understand (assuming your red cap isn't on too tight) that he'd indicted pretty soon after leaving office.

King Trump says everything out the open! King Trump never would say anything behind closed doors! Duhhhhh....

We've got one of the biggest idiots as POTUS in our lifetime, maybe in the history of our country. That lies constantly, doesn't understand basic functions of government, who insults our allies, attacks the media, attacks free speech, thumbs his nose at the rule of law, welcomed Russia's help to get him elected ,obstructed justice on nearly a dozen occasions and you're all like...."at least Trump says his bravado to audiences, rather than behind closed doors."

We're moving into full blown cult leader status now, do you have guys all have daddy issues or something?

At least Trump does it to audiences? You are so inconsistent I’m just going to call you the weather man from now on.
